How We Use Cookies on the Site
We use Mailchimp to create and send targeted email campaigns to the right customer. Mailchimp uses a variety of Cookies, and ways to track how emails are sent, what you open, and what you click on within the email. We use this data to improve our emails, to make sure we send you relevant, timely and more targeted emails.
Mailchimp automatically place single pixel gifs, also known as web ‘beacons’, in every email sent by us. These are tiny graphic files that contain unique identifiers that enable Mailchimp and our users to recognise when their subscribers have opened an email or clicked certain links. These technologies record each subscribers email address, IP address, date, and time associated with each open and click for a campaign. We use this data to create reports for our users about how an email campaign performed and what actions subscribers took.
There are two kinds of emails sent from the Site:
Order Notifications keep you updated on your order. They let you know a successful purchase was made, give you an idea of the shipping time, and let you know if an order has been cancelled or refunded.
Trigger type emails are those email types that are sent if you perform a certain action on the site. This can be done in a number of ways. We have provided some examples:
A Newsletter type email is a more traditional type of email, where the email is created and sent in batches to our whole email list or segments of it. Some examples of this can be, New bike offers, new product and upcoming events.
You can always unsubscribe from emails at any time. You have total control over whether you want to receive all, some or none of our emails. We can’t unsubscribe your from Notification type emails, since this is a legal obligation to send you these.
You may receive emails from us for one of these reasons:
All your order data is synced with Mailchimp, to ensure that the email have the right data in them, and to ensure you get relevant emails. We use this data to improve our customer service, and to gain more insight into how to be more relevant for our customers.
We use Google Analytics software to collect information about how you use the Site. We do this to help make sure the site is meeting the needs of its users and to help us make improvements, for example improving site search. Google Analytics stores information about
We don’t collect or store your personal information (for example your name or address) so this information can’t be used to identify who you are. We don’t allow Google to use or share our analytics data. But if data was used in such a away that bits of information are ‘blocked’ together, it can form a profile of you.

Sheffield Motorcycle Centre Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Sheffield Motorcycle Centre Ltd to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.
We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
