COVID-19 Customer Information & Support

At SMC Bikes, safeguarding our customers and colleagues is always our number one priority. We understand that, during the unfolding situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus), you may have questions or concerns regarding your vehicle. Below you should find the answers to any queries you may have. We will be sure to keep this page up-to-date with the very latest information as we respond to this situation within strict guidelines set out by the UK government.

I see you are re-opening your service department. How are you ensuring the safety of your customers and team members?

To support you in servicing your bike, our workshop is now open but strictly by appointment only. The safety and well-being of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority, so to ensure this, we have put together a detailed plan to guide us through the re-opening process.

This plan includes numerous social distancing and enhanced hygiene measures, new operating processes and the widespread introduction of personal protective equipment to ensure the safety of our colleagues and customers alike.

In order to support social distancing, it is imperative that we limit the number of customers and colleagues in our dealership at any one time. As such, service and workshop bookings are strictly by appointment only. Please USE THIS FORM to schedule your booking.

I see you are now offering a CLICK AND COLLECT service at your dealership. What steps are you taking to ensure vehicles are handed over safely?

We have always taken the safety of our colleagues and customers very seriously and in the current climate that responsibility is even more critical. As a result we have changed our usual vehicle handover process to ensure the safety of our customers and colleagues and respect government guidelines.

Why did you close your dealership?

We kept our dealership open as long as possible because we know we play an important role in keeping you and your bike mobile. Due to the unfolding situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus), we took swift and decisive action to ensure we fully comply with Government advice and our priority has been to implement this for the safety and welfare of our colleagues and customers.

How long do you expect your showroom to be closed for?

This is a rapidly changing situation and we will continue to follow the advice of the Government and Public Health England. Wherever possible, we will keep you updated as we very much appreciate your support during these worrying times.

Our showroom may be temporarily closed, but our remote Sales Teams are still here to help. And if you're looking to buy a new or used bike, explore your finance options or simply want to find out more about the latest model, please CONTACT US HERE

I have ordered / purchased a new vehicle - what will happen with delivery?

Following the recent update to Government guidance, we are pleased to announce we can now offer you the option to collect your new vehicle directly from the dealership. A colleague will be in touch with you shortly to discuss your options.
